The Knicks rolled into Milwaukee for their first game post-All-Star break, and… well, it wasn’t pretty. But RJ Barrett had a good game!

At the figurative halfway point of the season, the Knicks are a game over .500 after taking care of business against a hobbled, inferior Pistons team at MSG.

Let’s just pretend this game never happened. Except for the part where Frank Ntilikina was really good.

The Knicks are on another three-game win streak. They’re over .500 for the first time since they were 5-4 in early January. The Knicks are back.

The Knicks are winners of two straight and back to .500 after RJ Barrett and Julius Randle carried the team and Frank Ntilikina came up in the clutch. The Knicks are the fifth seed in the East!

The Knicks scored 140. Frank Ntilikina got his first run since 2021 started and did great. Quickley broke ALL the way out of his slump. Alec Burks went bananas. Julius Randle got his. Joy. Just unfiltered, uncontrollable joy.

The good: Julius Randle is an All-Star, it was pretty cool hearing fans chanting at the Garden again. The bad: This game stunk, the refs stunk, the Knicks couldn’t shoot.

The Knicks nearly blew a 21-point lead for their second straight loss… but they didn’t! They beat the Timberwolves at home and got back to within a game of .500 behind huge performances by Julius Randle and RJ Barrett.

The Knicks lost in Orlando. The game stunk. That is all.

Julius Randle exploded for 44 points, RJ Barrett bounced back with 21 points, and the Knicks steamrolled the Hawks down the stretch to improve to 14-15 and beat the Hawks at home.

The Knicks took care of business against the shorthanded Rockets at home, cruising to their second straight win on the back-to-back.

Three straight wins just wasn’t meant to be for the Knicks, as the Heat got hot at just the right moment down the stretch to put New York away with a Derrick Rose trade looming on the horizon.

The Knicks took the first of their home matinee back-to-back by besting the Blazers at MSG. Randle and RJ continued their excellence, Elfrid crossed 20 points again, Quickley flashed his amazing potential in limited minutes, and six Knicks scored in double figures.

Elfrid Payton probably bought himself another 40 games starting, and the Knicks won the second of their two-game set in Chicago.

The Knicks started their Chicago trip off with a thud, getting burned by Lauri Markkanen. That said, they were in it until the final whistle, but just couldn’t get it done against the Bulls down the stretch.

The Knicks played one of the best teams in the NBA and held their own until a late rally by the Clippers put them away. But huge performances by Julius Randle, RJ Barrett, and Immanuel Quickley paint a rosy picture of the future for the Knicks.

The Knicks returned home from the west coast to the best coast, and defended home court against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Immanuel Quickley once again took over for the Knicks, RJ Barrett played big, and the Knicks got a 102-81 victory to snap their three-game skid.

Austin Rivers went bonkers in the first half, but the Knicks went icy in the second. The Knicks end their road trip with a 1-3 record headed back to the Garden on Friday.
